Onyx Patchwork Dialogues: Black Memory, Craft, and the Archive (A Virtual Conversation)

As Onyx Patchworks comes to a close, this virtual gathering invites you into a living conversation about Black memory and the archives that hold it. This closing event brings together artist and scholar Dr. Jaleesa Wells, Berea College collections archivist Peter Morphew, and Berea College senior and educator Tania Bond for an open conversation on Black history, creative research, and the evolving role of archives in community life. Rooted in the themes of Onyx Patchworks, the panel highlights how Black stories move across generations and through objects, games, quilts, and the people who steward them.

Join us for a casual virtual discussion as we reflect on the work, the lineage, and the futures held within Black archives.
